Obi Light Ogbonnia is a 51-year-old Sickle Cell Survivor and Warrior — Founder and President of the Obi Ogbonnia Sickle Cell Foundation. Drawing on first-hand experience of the burden of SCD, he has dedicated his life to inspiring hope within the sickle cell community through policy change, research partnerships and medical interventions. With over 20 years in global education consulting and student counselling, his leadership bridges lived experience with systemic change.
