My Sickled Story

In the heart of Nigeria, home to the world’s largest population of sickle cell carriers, millions are fighting a silent, painful battle. They are warriors, not by choice, but by necessity. Their stories are filled with courage, heartbreak, survival, and an unyielding will to live. Yet, their voices remain unheard, hidden behind hospital curtains and buried beneath societal stigma.

“My Sickled Story” is here to change that.

This bold, street-style docu-series is not just another awareness campaign. It is a raw, unscripted lens into the lives of real people living with sickle cell disorder, filmed right on the streets, where the battle is often most visible and the help is farthest away. We are bringing their unfiltered truths to the forefront, stories of pain, resilience, love, loss, and hope.

But we cannot do this alone.

We need your support more than ever.

Every day, lives are lost, not because there is no hope, but because there is no voice, no spotlight, no urgency. “My Sickled Story” aims to give the voiceless a stage, to shift the narrative from pity to power, and to drive lasting change through visibility and advocacy.

Your support will help us:

☑️ Document and share the stories of warriors across Nigeria

☑️ Raise awareness in communities that desperately need education and empathy

☑️ Break the silence, end the stigma, and push for better care and policy

☑️ Inspire a generation of warriors and allies to stand up and be seen

This isn’t just storytelling. It’s life-saving advocacy.

Join us. Amplify their voices. Share their truth. Fuel their fight. Behind every episode is a human being — bleeding, breathing, and believing in a better tomorrow.

“My Sickled Story” needs you.
Because every warrior deserves to be heard.
And their time is now.

Support. Share. Stand With Us.
